Better Alternatives to Traditional Plastic:

Casein Milk plastic:

Casein plastic molded into a teddy bear.

This is what plastic-like materials were traditionally made out of. A simple recipe of heated milk and vinegar. It can be molded in the first few hours after production, but will then harden over a few days. Unfortunately, it seems that it is very difficult to re-melt this plastic to reform it. However, it is completely biodegradable in its disposal, and renewable in its production.
